Antares Rotator Rings are available for several makes of popular telescopes, but not for the Takahashi E180ED -pictured right.
USA manufacturers , Antares, were kind enough to make a set for me, which I then adapted to suit the Tak E180 telescope.
As you can see, I reversed the rings to put the flanges inside due to the very limited tube length.
The standard set for the Meade SN-10 was straightforward to fit.
Brackets and mounting plates made to suit from Mil spec aluminium alloy (used in the construction of ocean going ships) two thicknesses were used 12mm & 16mm to mount the 2 scopes side by side or as single scopes on an EQ6 mount.
Half - inch steel bolts for all fastenings.
The final assembly is a very substantial support platform for both telescopes.
